Vysya Students Hostel of Visakhapatnam was giving accommodation for 25 students per year till 1994 and thus Arya Vysya Students flourished their studies. It is located in the heart of the City, just two minutes walk away from Jagadamba Junction. This is purely a Service Organisation for Arya Vysya Students. Accommodation is provided Free of Cost and Maintenance Charges only will be collected. The unique feature of this Hostel is that the students themselves maintain the mess on their own on
cooperative basis and share the actual costs & among themselves under the supervision of the Managing Committee.

By the year 1994 the building reached to a collapsible position and the students approached the members of local Vasavi Chaitanya Foundation organisation and sought their help. They took the lead and collected funds for the development of the hostel and constructed a block with all facilities in the vacant place with a cost of Rs.22 Lakhs to accommodate 45 students. Due to the increased demand another
25 students are accommodated in a nearby rental building.

In 2007,looking at this increased need after the expansion of Visakhapatnam City, the Managing Committee of the Hostel constructed Two New Blocks of 3 Floors consisting 60 Rooms for accommodating 120 Students on twin sharing basis with a plinth of 16,000 S. In 2015,after forming our New Andhra Pradesh the importance of Visakhapatnam increased and the State Government is very keen in making the Financial Capital of Andhra Pradesh, an International Tourist Centre, I. T. Hub and to establish National Educational Institutions. Our Prime Minister has promised to make our Visakhapatnam as one of the 100 Smart Cities being developed with the cooperation of United States of America.

Visakhapatnam is one of the most & fastest developing Cities of Asia, many Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Pharmacy and Management Colleges are established at Madhurawada – a fast developing area. The Managing Committee felt the need to develop another Hostel, purchased a site of 600 Sq. Yds. at Midhilapuri VUDA Colony, Madhurawada to construct a modern Hostel with 5 Floors, 13,000 S. Ft.
